Emma Brierley is the chief executive of Xchangeteam Limited which she founded in 1999 following her experiences as a PR freelance consultant and a career in the PR agency business.
Xchangeteam’s vision is to be the first and the last recruitment agency that a client contacts. Emma believes Xchangeteam can make this impact by adhering to its five key values which underpin all that it does: Personal, Integrity, Expert, Progressive and Fun. This means that clients and candidates can rely on Xchangeteam to be straightforward, honest and utterly genuine and to adhere to rigorous standards of operations. Today, it has grown to be an award-winning, multi-million pound company which offers both freelance and permanent recruitment across marketing, media and communications. Her entrepreneurial achievements were recognised in 2006 by reaching the finals of the Ernst & Young London Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Awards.
Emma has been elected onto the Executive Board of APSCO, the professional services recruitment trade body, for the second year running and is chair of their marketing sector group, M Squared.
She is a published author; her book “Talent on Tap” helps organisations get the best from freelancers.
Emma is a mother, a mentor of young businesses and a founder member of Muse à Muse, a French Arts Association, organising anglo-franco cultural events.
