2006 is the third year of the Xchangeteam Freelancer of the Year Awards – the only awards dedicated to freelancers in marketing and creative services.
This year we have joined forces with Brand Republic to showcase some of the outstanding work that freelancers have carried out over the past 12 months (Nov 05 to Oct 06) for their clients.
Brand Republic is the UK's leading online advertising, marketing, media and PR website and the online home of Marketing and Campaign.
Our eminent array of judges from across marketing and creative services and the freelance world will select eight category winners and one overall winner. They include:
- Simon Juden – CEO, Smart Contractor Hiring and the former chairman of freelance trade body, the Professional Contractors Group
- Dominic Shales – Director, Paratus Communications
- Mike Cavers – Creative Director, Publicis Dialog
- Mark Nall – Managing Director, adpepper
- Diana Watson – Director, Bespoke Marketing
- Nick Andrews – CiB Chairman 2005-2006 and Director of CG Business Communications
- Chris Shepherd-Barron – Deputy Managing Director & Head of EMEA, Imagination (GIC) Ltd
All winners' careers will receive a major boost from the prestige of receiving an award and the accompanying publicity. Last year's Xchangeteam Freelancer of the Year, copywriter Ray Christodoulou, said "It's nice to be recognised for what you do for a living. I suppose that the biggest change the award has made is that now, whenever I take time off, I don't feel that uncertainty about finding work that's so embedded within the freelancer psyche."
To nominate a freelance consultant – someone you’ve hired or someone you’ve worked with – or yourself please complete the following nomination form. They do not need to be registered with Xchangeteam.
All fields are mandatory.
