Freelancer of the Year 2005

Congratulations to Copywriter Ray Christodoulou who was awarded Xchangeteam's overall Freelancer of the Year 2005 award at an event on 26th January in Café Xchange. Ray also won the freelance Editorial/Copywriting award, Emma Lewis, won freelance Communications and PR Consultant; Cordelia Sayers won freelance Events Consultant; and Neil Simpson, won Creative freelancer. Ray received £500 of holiday vouchers to be spent on a holiday of his choice as well as a glass trophy and the category winners received a bottle of champagne and engraved glass trophy paperweights.

Now in their second year, Xchangeteam's Freelancer of the Year Awards are designed to recognise and reward best practice in freelancing. Judges were looking for those freelancers who had demonstrated their professionalism, motivation, self-discipline, organisation and overall drive to succeed as a freelancer. Xchangeteam is determined that high calibre freelancers who demonstrate these qualities, get the rightful public acknowledgement via activities such as these Awards.
